This linocut emerges from a posture of grounding; hands and feet firmly connected to the earth, the body bending forward in an act of rooting itself.The gesture is about becoming. From this connection to the ground, something begins to rise.
Grow Love reflects on the idea that growth starts with being grounded. Like a seed that must first take root before it can reach towards the light, love requires a foundation from which it can flourish. The figure embodies both humility and strength, drawing nourishment from the earth while simultaneously moving beyond it.
The work carries a universal message: love. It begins in a single place—within ourselves, in our connection to others, and in our relationship with the world—and from there it continues to grow, extending outward in ways that reach far beyond its origin.
