I think I think too much. Thinking about thinking.
Strong, simple lines capture the repetitive nature of thought—how the mind circles back on itself, moving through endless loops of reflection. This self-awareness gives the work a distinctly philosophical character.
Set against an intense blue background, the image deepens the sense of immersion. The colour draws you in, evoking both calm and overwhelm, like being submerged in thought.
A visual meditation on overthinking and the awareness of it.
mulberry paper
Mulberry paper is made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree. The bark can be harvested without cutting the tree down, as it grows back over time, which makes it a sustainable material.
I love to work with this paper because it has a natural, soft feel and a slightly irregular texture. to me it looks a bit like silk — a comparison that makes sense when you think about how silkworms feed on the leaves of the mulberry tree.
For me, it’s a simple, honest material that fits well with the way I work.
