Amor Mundi- “love of the world”—is a concept by Hannah Arendt that describes a conscious engagement with the shared world we inhabit.
At its core, Amor Mundi is about participation. It speaks to the space where people meet as equals—where we speak, listen, and act. It resists withdrawal into isolation and affirms that we are part of something larger than ourselves.
Arendt’s idea can be understood as a form of world-affirming love: a commitment to care for what is shared, to remain engaged, and to acknowledge responsibility even in difficult times. An invitation to remain connected—not because the world is perfect, but because it is ours.

mulberry paper

Mulberry paper is made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree. The bark can be harvested without cutting the tree down, as it grows back over time, which makes it a sustainable material.

I love to work with this paper because it has a natural, soft feel and a slightly irregular texture. to me it looks a bit like silk — a comparison that makes sense when you think about how silkworms feed on the leaves of the mulberry tree.

For me, it’s a simple, honest material that fits well with the way I work.
