This work plays with the double meaning of the word content. In the inner space, nothing is missing—everything is already there.
Here, contentment and content meet: a quiet alignment between emptiness and fullness.
A subtle reflection on presence, sufficiency, and the sense that nothing needs to be added in order to be whole.
loktapapier
Lokta paper is a unique, handmade paper from Nepal, crafted from the inner bark of the Lokta plant, which grows in the Himalayan highlands. This ancient material is deeply rooted in Nepali culture and is valued for its natural beauty, strength, and sustainability. Unlike machine-made paper, Lokta paper is 100% natural, unbleached, and often decorated by hand with prints or painted designs.
The production process is entirely manual and environmentally friendly. The bark is carefully harvested without harming the plant, allowing it to regenerate. It is then boiled, processed into pulp, spread into sheets, and dried in the sun before being colored or decorated.
Thanks to its durability, tear resistance, and natural insect-repellent qualities, Lokta paper is both practical and eco-conscious—making it increasingly popular worldwide as a sustainable alternative to mass-produced paper.
