l'origine de l'univers

This imaginative composition presents a tangled form—like a nest of twigs and leaves—printed in a rich, deep blue. The scene evokes a sense of being within the cosmos. Stars are scattered throughout, and if you look closely, tiny hands appear to release stardust, as if the form itself is gently creating the universe from within.
You can meet the eyes of this gentle presence.
Rather than a Big Bang, this work imagines the origin of the universe as a loving being—an unfolding, continuous act of creation.
mulberry paper
Mulberry paper is made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree. The bark can be harvested without cutting the tree down, as it grows back over time, which makes it a sustainable material.
I love to work with this paper because it has a natural, soft feel and a slightly irregular texture. to me it looks a bit like silk — a comparison that makes sense when you think about how silkworms feed on the leaves of the mulberry tree.
For me, it’s a simple, honest material that fits well with the way I work.
