A woman cradles the moon—both as a dream and as a word—inviting a sense of wonder that feels close and accessible. It suggests that connection to the universe does not require distance; it lives within the everyday.
A falling star crosses the scene, carrying a simple gesture of hope: the moment we see it, we may make a wish.
A work about imagination, presence, and a touch of quiet magic in daily life.
mulberry paper
Mulberry paper is made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree. The bark can be harvested without cutting the tree down, as it grows back over time, which makes it a sustainable material.
I love to work with this paper because it has a natural, soft feel and a slightly irregular texture. to me it looks a bit like silk — a comparison that makes sense when you think about how silkworms feed on the leaves of the mulberry tree.
For me, it’s a simple, honest material that fits well with the way I work.
