Human arms: instruments of care, growth, and renewal.
A strong and direct image, it suggests a shift from force to care, where strength is used in service of the earth and its natural processes.
This work reflects a quiet sense of pacifism, reframing “arms” as gestures of care and proposing a perspective shift toward nurturing and ecological renewal.
An artwork as an invitation to shift perspective.
mulberry paper
Mulberry paper is made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree. The bark can be harvested without cutting the tree down, as it grows back over time, which makes it a sustainable material.
I love to work with this paper because it has a natural, soft feel and a slightly irregular texture. to me it looks a bit like silk — a comparison that makes sense when you think about how silkworms feed on the leaves of the mulberry tree.
For me, it’s a simple, honest material that fits well with the way I work.
